We are committed to the responsible use of any personal data that we collect during your interaction with our website and any bookings that you subsequently make. We do not collect or store personal data on our website. We use the following external specialist organisations who collect on our behalf, the personal information that is required to service your booking and/or for sending you information about our cottage:
Your personal information is never, and will never, be shared with anyone else, for any purpose, by ourselves or any of the above organisations.
If you are a past or future guest of Holiday With Your Dogs, personal details regarding your booking will be held on our booking system. For example, your name, address, email, telephone number and how many dogs you entered on your booking. If you are signed up to any of our mailing lists, the details you entered on the sign-up form are held (via MailChimp) in order to service your request for mailings.
Our booking provider keeps personal information (excluding bank/credit card details) to allow us to service your booking, to allow us to file correct financial returns as well as to help us to understand trends and to improve our service.
We are required by law to keep a record of financial transactions for 6 years. Our data-retention policy is that bookings older than 10 years will be removed from our records.
We maintain, in line with GDPR rules, an 'opt-in' policy for marketing. You will only receive emails should you have clearly chosen to do so via either verbal or a clear indication through our site signup form or during booking. When marketing via email newsletters etc., we utilise a list that is managed by MailChimp. You can unsubscribe from these emails at any time by clicking the 'unsubscribe' link in any email marketing communication.
For further information on the above, or any queries relating to issues or subjects not covered here, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be pleased to help.Last updated: 24th May 2018
